Frame size guide
Every frame carries three numbers inside the left temple. Learn to read them once and you never guess a size again.
Read the three numbers
Three numbers are printed inside the left temple: lens width, bridge, temple length — all in millimetres. Match the first to a frame you already own and the fit will carry over.
- Lens width
- How wide one lens is. It decides how wide the frame looks on your face.
- Bridge
- The gap between the two lenses, resting on your nose.
- Temple length
- The arm, from the hinge to the tip behind your ear.
Match the width to your face
| 52▫ narrow | Face width up to 130 mm |
|---|---|
| 55▫ regular | 130 – 142 mm |
| 58▫ wide | 142 mm and above |
How to find your size
- Hold a ruler flat across your face, just below the eyes.
- Measure from one cheekbone to the other, in millimetres.
- Pick the lens width in the table — or the one printed on a frame that already fits you.
Between two sizes?
Shapes differ between houses, so a 52 can sit slightly differently from one maker to the next. Between two sizes, choose the narrower for a snug fit and the wider for a relaxed one.
Hinge and nose-pad adjustments are free in store for as long as you own the frame.
